Framo Engineering has by Shell been awarded delivery of the new Ship Loading system to replace the 15 years old existing loading buoy at Draugen.

 

The Riserbase was installed 2009 with two 18" EAB Horizontal Spool Connectors and one 24" Horizontal Riser Connector.

 

The rest of the system will be installed in 2011 and consist of two 18" horizontal Spool Connectors, one 18" Vertical Spool Connector and three 24" Vertical Riser Connectors. All connectors are operated by the same ROV tool spread.

 

EAB do also deliver tooling for the Connection system including:

 

- Seal Repleacement Tool

- Cleaning and Inspection Tool

- Stroking Tool for horizontal installation

- 20T SS Winches for vertical installation

- 200T Tow Head

- 85T Tow Heads

- Loading Riser Installation Tool

- Flowline Installation Tools
