PULL-IN AND CONNECTION
EAB has participated in the development of Subsea connection systems since 1990.
EAB has to various degrees contributed to many of the well known systems available on the Subsea market covering a range from 3” to 30” pipe connections.
All this experience is built into the latest generation of EAB Spool Connection System.
EAB Spool Connection System enables diver-less tie-in and connection of a wide range of sizes without use of heavy or advanced tooling. All tools needed are launched in a separate tool basket and picked up and carried by the manipulator of an ROV.
The system is used to connect rigid and flexible spools, risers and umbilical terminations and can be arranged for vertical or horizontal orientation of the hubs.
With EAB Spool Connection System Subsea operations can be prepared for and executed with a minimum of specialised operators and a small spread.
