The tool spread is available for our connection system and in a special design for other brands. The tools are launched in specially designed baskets suitable for tool parking and service on deck and launching to seabed for the ROV to pick up the tool to be used.
Buoyancy elements make the tools almost buoyant and easy for the ROV to carry and install on to the connector structure. The same tools are used on inboard as well as outboard hubs. There are tool heads for all sizes of flowlines from 6- to 36-in connectors and for multibore hubs.
Hydraulic and electric power is supplied by hot-stab jumpers from the ROV.
